Cumbria Outdoors works in partnership with schools, academies, and youth organisations to deliver high‑quality Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions. Our programmes are designed to complement school aims, support pastoral development, and provide meaningful outdoor learning experiences. Whether staff prefer a collaborative approach or wish us to lead the full expedition process, we tailor our support to meet your needs and priorities.

We place a strong emphasis on safety, safeguarding, and high‑quality instruction. Cumbria Outdoors is an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and holds an Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) licence, giving schools and parents confidence that every expedition meets rigorous national standards.

We can support Bronze, Silver and Gold groups from training through to practice and qualifying expeditions.
