Environmental Education - Education groups
Connect with, enjoy and care for wild places
View our offer for the up and coming Academic year (24/25) - this is a hugely subsidised offer made available by funding from the Foundation for Common Land.
Do you want some outdoor activities but want to give something back and learn about looking after our planet; think global, act local?
Then join us for this exciting environmental award based at Hawse End Centre!
Working in partnership with local conservation organisations, Cumbria Outdoors supports children from start to finish. Our outdoor education leaders facilitate children's understanding of and care for wild places.
Connect to the world around us through activities, carry out some conservation to care for our environment, then share the experience via a class assembly or online platform.
View a case study year by one of our visiting schools who participate in our award every year.
