Help with funding your visit

Outdoor learning is a valuable experience for children as it offers a range of benefits that can help with their personal growth and development. One of the most significant advantages of outdoor learning is the opportunity to increase independence. Children are given the chance to make decisions and take responsibility for themselves in a safe and supportive environment, which can help them develop important life skills.

Another key benefit of outdoor learning is the boost to confidence and resilience that it can provide. Through various activities and challenges, children can learn to push themselves out of their comfort zones, build their self-esteem, and develop a positive attitude towards facing new challenges. These experiences can also help children to develop resilience, which is a crucial skill in life.

Overall, residential and day visit experiences can be an incredible way for children to learn, grow, and develop important life skills, all while having fun and making memories that will last a lifetime.

If you're interested in attending Cumbria Outdoors but are concerned about the cost, there may be funding opportunities available to help subsidise your visit.
